Residents Ask Pesanggrahan River Normalization Accelerated

The flood, that often inundates their residential area, starts to make the residents living in Pondok Pinang and Bintaro urban villages, South Jakarta, bored. Head of Pondok Pinang Urban Village, Iwan S, admitted that for RW 01, 05, 08, and 11 are still being inventoried.

“The (Pesanggrahan River normalization) works are still in RW 04, 09, and 12. For the RWs which were flooded yesterday, the work is still in inventory phase,” he stated.

In addition, Iwan explained that high local rain intensity will cause the urban village inundated. However, the inundation recedes fast.
